Felco C2 Blade Hardness is 10% greater than Model C7. C7 cutters have a remarkable blade hardness. These cutters are even harder. This will extend the life of the tool considerably when used in the cutting of very hard wire or cable. The opening of these tools is limited to 2mm. This is achieved by the addition of a pin in the top blade that rides in the groove cut into the opposing blade. This is a very strong feature that will last for the life of the tool. Limited Handle Opening and Easier Closing for Better Ergonomics. When fully opened these tools have a handle spread of only 4-1/4". This gives a very comfortable fit for even the smallest hands. Additionally, the handle spring is softer than the C7 tool, making these tools much easier to close.
